With over 30 years of experience in human resources, Sharon has built a reputation as a strategic and operational leader. Early in her career, she worked with State Government, private sector and not for profit organisations, where she gained valuable experience managing all facets of the employment lifecycle.

 

Sharon transitioned to Local Government over a decade ago, where she held senior People & Culture roles for metropolitan Councils. As a strategic HR leader, Sharon is experienced in designing and implementing people strategies and operational systems that enhance organisational culture, leadership capability, workplace relations and the overall people experience.

 

Sharon is a recognised industry award winner in Local Government for her innovative People & Culture initiatives, which focussed on culture and leadership development and workplace health and safety (WHS).

 

Her experience includes all aspects of the employment lifecycle such as recruitment and selection; workforce planning, organisational development, reward and recognition, and development of supporting policy and procedure frameworks.

 

As a workplace relations specialist, Sharon has experience with enterprise agreement processes, workplace investigations and employment law principles. Her expertise lies in navigating complex workplace issues, mediating conflicts, and cultivating environments where employees feel valued and heard.
